There's a lot of shit I did tolerate back then that I would not now and I'm not going to pretend I was some perfect bastion of good taste but come the fuck on. Let's not pretend there aren't and weren't social consequences for this shit back in the day.

Game really went from King of Puppets/Romeo which is one of my favorite fights in a Souls game in some time, to Victor, a nice and fun palette cleanser boss, to an absolute dogwater fight and then a reskin of the first boss that I first tried.

DLC areas are great. Bosses less so, so far.

First game was v solid and I'm looking forward to the second one. Indie survival horror fans been eating good recently.

One of the things I really appreciate about this game is how it establishes and builds on the dynamics between Hinako and her friends, especially Shu. It's constantly engaging in character work that makes it really feel like they've known each other forever that makes it hit so much harder.
