Despite rumors to the contrary, we would like to remind everyone that the working conditions here at Sword & Board Games are perfectly humane according to games industry standards and the writer's room is only locked from the outside for Serena's own protection.
apparently the way i drink monster is 'incorrect' and 'an affront to god'

For transparency, none of our titles got deindexed or delisted from Itchio as far as I can tell. However, as a predominantly queer-operated and queer-owned game studio we're collectively quite shaken in our trust in Itch as a platform and are currently investigating pathways forward.

[Wakes up, bleary-eyed, confused, dehydrated]

Man, we picked the *worst* possible time to do this, huh?
We here at Sword & Board Games have a very special announcement:
We launched an Itchio page that you can check out from this link. There's also a few cool things going on with this Itchio page that we would like to share!

The Akshenim are a proud, ancient people, whose history stretches back tens of millions of years. They are physical manifestations of the magic which flows throughout all existence, wandering the stars in search of the Artifacts of Ruin aboard their arcanotek colony ships known as Dragon-Arks.

During the Tetrarchy's Era of Unification, the Haagenti were the alchemically and cybernetically augmented shocktroops who formed the spearhead of the Army of Unification. Only operating alongside baseline soldiers in the most desperate of campaigns, they formed a highly insular and elitist mindset.

It's Pride Month and our founder just used their share of last month's royalties to pay for their estrogen. If you've bought one of our games, know it's going to a good cause.

An example warband created with a 1k points limit, featuring the titanic dragon Valathrax the Incorruptible, and his retinue of human, elven, and dwarven followers. This warband is going to feature in an upcoming Battle Report showcasing the rules for the Medieval Warfare expansion.

Bit of an addendum, the game is being delayed to be released the first week of April. Our DriveThruRPG publisher account remains 'unverified' because we've yet to publish enough materials to become verified, which means we need to wait to get personally verified by DTR's Publisher Relations team.
We here at Sword & Board Games are happy to announce that our first game is receiving it's first expansion, TUSC: Medieval Warfare. This supplement book adds an expanded roster of historical arms and armor, an expanded spell list, and rules for fielding truly titanic monsters like dragons.

We've been dormant for a while. We can say with some certainty, we've been quiet because we've been making a few really cool things that we'll be very happy to share with you in the coming weeks.

TUSC's gotten a fancy new logo drawn by our team's excellent art director, Zack Viola.

The Anvil Pattern Main Battle Tank is what's known as a Tomb Engine, a gargantuan vehicle kept in the armor columns of a Household's Haagenti Legion piloted not by a living crew, but by the quarter-living carcass of an undead Haagenti warrior.

The 1.1 update of the TUSC: The Universal Skirmish Combat Engine rulebook has been released, which contains a small number of changes mostly geared toward further polishing the game and fixing known issues. Full patch notes below:
December 15, 2024 at 9:51 PM
The primary weapon of the Haagenti legions is the Radgun, a devastating anti-infantry weapon designed to agonizingly melt soft targets in a cone in front of the legionnaire with radioactive waves. Often deployed to brutally put down seditious demonstrations, a practice known as crowd clearance.
