While I do a lot of sketching, I’ve been nervous to take the next step into painting. So I decided to experiment with creating a complementary color scheme from two inks, and paint a figure. Here’s the results with more paintings to come.

I think I'm going to be opening up for commissions in the next couple weeks. Here's one I did almost a year ago. The request was "Darkwing Duck vs. Duckula."
Darkwing Duck, Gosalyn, Launchpad, and Morgana stand in a circular stone room, with an open, empty coffin. Darkwing holds a mallet and a carrot. Dangermouse and Penfold stand by. There is a staircase rising above them, and Count Duckula is descending it, grinning. His shadow rises up on the wall in the shape of a bat.
