Ashamed to say I'd never had sweet potato pie before today.

Tried three today: the well-known Patti LaBelle pie from Wal-Mart, a recipe that viewers suggested I make at home, and a slice from Denver's famous Welton Street Cafe.

(You're dismissed now, pumpkin pie. We're done.)

I 100% believe this.

Obamacare getting healthcare to 20 million people saves about 30,000 people's lives a year. Or about a 9/11 worth of lives EVERY MONTH, in perpetuity.

This would be bigger than that.

SCOOP—In August, nearly 200 current/former FEMA staffers published the Katrina Declaration, a whistleblower letter detailing all the dangers posed by current leadership.

All current employees were put on indefinite leave, and now I've learned one has been fired in violation of federal protections:

An 18yo US citizen, surrounded by eight masked, armed agents of the state, taken into custody, not read his rights, not offered a chance to contact a lawyer, proof of citizenship ignored, handcuffed so tightly he later required medical attention.

Profoundly, profoundly anti-American shit.
