I quietly launched my Etsy recently, & while I was at a family reunion a stranger purchased something. I was:

a) very excited, and

b) totally panicked that I couldn’t ship it immediately / that I hadn’t put the shop on vacation mode bc I hadn’t expected that at all 😆

They were understanding 🙏❤️

I made another pea pod for a gift, this time more blue-green than yellow-green.

Art class should never stop being a thing. Like if right after lunch we all got to go down to the basement for an hour, throw on a smock, and make collages out of old magazines while somebody's eccentric, slightly witchy aunt tells us how great we're doing, I feel like we'd all be in a better place.

I often like how a palette looks after I’ve made a number of paintings. I recently decided to use a canvas board for a palette; I just varnished and framed it and now it’s its own little piece!
