He’s also clearly bad at maths because when asked to define himself in 3 words he uses 6 🤷‍♀️

What infuriates me is that he stands up in front of world leaders, and he lies and lies and lies, and none of them seem to publicly call him out (unless I’ve missed something). Also he confused Greenland & Iceland more than once, & if Biden had done that once, Republicans would’ve been all over it.

Saw the name Pip here and thought for a moment it was a new storyline on #TheArchers that I'd missed.
“Wisdom revealed his hoarded heaps; and among the joyous, heartless, ever-juvenile eternities, Pip saw the multitudinous God-omnipresent, coral insects, that out of the firmament of waters heaved the colossal orbs.” Poor Pip, but what a vision of creation! 🐋

Does he not realise that the Nobel Foundation is based in Sweden, and has nothing to do with the national government of Sweden, let alone the national government of Norway.

Louis XIV was covered in my A-level history course and I never even realised he had a brother! Course might have been more fun with more Monsieur.

Well, I've finally & belatedly deleted my X account. I've not posted for a while, but hung on because there were still accounts/people I was following who I can't find elsewhere, & I have fond memories of better days and of lovely interactions that will now be lost. But it was time to go. So I went.

@nickinmasham.bsky.social, thought you might appreciate this one.
#TheArchers “Lillian, can I tell you about the specials?”

“Don’t tell me, they were formed in Coventry in 1977.”

You’ll need to pull harder than that, Edith, and use both hands if you are to extricate me from this chaise-longue that is attempting to swallow me #GirlsOwnCC

Here’s a rather lovely piece from the Radio Times about the man who wrote the music for Trumpton, Chigley and Camberwick Green. Something to cleanse your timeline in these grim days.
