Need help with your manuscript, research assistance, or a book index?

I have some limited availability in January and February for new projects.

Mystery in a box!
This fragment once held the heart of Abbot Roger de Norton (d.1291) — and it’s inscribed in Arabic calligraphy. Made in Afghanistan nearly 1,000 years ago, its journey to St Albans is still unknown. See it in our Worlds Connected exhibition. On until 22 February 2026.
