"I'm beginning to see Brooks [Robinson] in my sleep,” [Sparky] Anderson said afterwards. “If I dropped a paper plate, he'd pick it up on one hop and throw me out at first.”
Apparently the way to pitch to Hank Aaron was to make sure no one else was on base.

Phenomenal game session tonight. PCs were split into multiple groups, I swapped between them frequently, and made decisions based on "what monkey wrench can I throw in now?"
I was told that it was the best session so far.

It's accurate to say that without this book, there might not have been any ASTRO CITY. That's true of other books, too, but it's very much true of this one.

Fictional characters aren’t interesting in and of themselves. What makes them interesting is what’s on the page. Or stage, or screen, or whatever.
If you want an audience to find the characters you’re portraying interesting, you have to put what’s interesting about them into your portrayal.
