That's one intriguing rabbit hole. For everyone detected there's probably some with cleverer fake bios... and if there are many bundles of 10k fake spam accounts how much of bsky's growth is real?
Every public action on Bluesky is available via a stream of events known as the firehose. By monitoring the firehose for repeated text, it is sometimes possible to quickly detect groups of spam accounts as they spawn.

My biggest grief was all the interesting people I followed, 2000 of them, and my lists built over a decade... hopefully this will help!

It seems a no brainer that it breaches human rights to return someone to a place where they're not allowed to exist & would have to fear every day.
