Something you may underestimate in IT operations is how fast you can actually do things with a few top engineers and no rules. You can in fact quickly integrate data stores into hacked-together applications and start mining for stuff, not use the ERP interface. This is what DOGE is architected for.

This has been a tactic for decades, and they ramped it up to bomb threats to democrat areas. Heck they let vigilantes challenge the right of other citizens to vote. They were purging voting roles right before the election.
