I wonder just how many people are going to have PTSD in our country because of ICE’s actions. This is causing massive amounts of trauma in the affected communities. Even if everything stopped today, people are still going to live in fear because of it. Idk. Just sad thinking about it. #politics #ice

I started reading Kenn Kaufman's Kingbird Highway today. It'll be the third birding memoir I've read this year if I manage to finish it by New Year's! Somehow it's almost as much fun to read about birding as it is to go birding for me.

Terrible to have to relate, but the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission, headed by the corrupt and incompetent Rodney Barrito (please do boycott his business interests) has allowed a free-for-all of a bear hunt with no monitoring. It must be stopped. It is clearly not quota based. 1/2
