My latest journal article is a labour of love. As an #Irish researcher living in England, I am frustrated when reports on #ethnic #inequalities leave out the Irish. I reviewed 20 years of literature and found that the Irish in Britain are still disadvantaged in mental health, mortality, and suicide.

I am not that surprised that more women quit academic publishing than men- this chimes with data showing fewer women get their papers published, grants funded if they lead them and that more women get pushed into support roles. We do need to do more to support and mentor female staff. 🧪
