2 reasons why I think the Sequels will not get the same reappraisal and love the Prequels:
1) They were made for a new generation of Star Wars fans. The sequels were made with nostalgia in mind.
2) While they are imperfect they have something to say about fascism. Sequels are politically neutered

this gets to the point i keep making. to the media elites who are obsessed with anti-wokeness, something like mass deportation is a total abstraction whereas they are annoyed, on a daily basis, by their supposedly “woke” younger colleagues and social media antagonists
