This, by Matthew Boroson, is pretty convincing. I knew exactly none of it before reading the original post on Facebook.

Private Equity Is Making Big Money From UK’s Most Vulnerable Children.

Due to privatisation 80% of children's care homes run by corporations.

Profit margins of 20%, lenders take another 10%, leaving less for care.

Substandard homes in distant places.

Govt won't end the scam.

Grenfell was preventable. The architects refurbished the tower, making it into a deadly fire trap. Since the regulator isn’t holding them to account, we’re stepping in.

Help us fight for a UK where safety standards are for everyone, and not just for a few?

The ONS is developing harmonised standards for sex and gender identity

We need to make sure that ‘gender critical’ transphobes don’t get their claws into it, to eradicate trans people in statistics, documents and policy!

Using the bluesky bridge and accepting all the suggestions because I followed too many people on Twitter and my ADHD just noped out on individually checking *may* have been a mistake. I've accidentally got at least one random fetish account in my feed. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

It did try to warn me that could happen lol

All the swear words. I'm making something for my closest friend's birthday, it's in 13 days. I can't do anything else until I have some safety eyes.

I only had small ones that look naff so ordered some bigger ones that arrived today and I accidently went for 20mm instead of 12mm. 20mm is far too

Decided to make my bestie a crochet greyhound for her birthday. Which is in about 2 weeks. And my hands have only just stopped aching from excessive crocheting + mystery chronic pain condition.

Very carefully trying out a prototype that might end up being the gift if it's good enough. 🤞it goes well

Need to speak to the DWP, phoned up and was on hold for so long my barely contained panic attack pushed through in the form of floods of tears and I had to hang up. I don't have the mental stamina for something that anxiety inducing atm. 😣

Thinking about buying mermaid themed crochet hooks and a bundle of pretty colour changing wool. Even though I'm on a crochet ban for at least one more week because it set off the pain in my hands and arms.

Also, I think maybe the pain could be fibromyalgia. It would explain my high platelet count

Evidence of my crochet addiction, all made in the last month and a half, this is only a fraction of my newly knitted wool army. There are many more dragons, a couple of bees and a tiny octocus.

Ten days I've been on this site. Ten days. And it has already started. Apparently, I'm a Karen for reporting this. So trans people have to sit here and say nothing while we are dehumanized all over again on another platform. If you are able, please report it.
