And to kick off 2025, the first game of the year completed is Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 remaster. Onto Soul Reaver 2.
One thing I would really like to see in future FromSoft games is for the camera to dynamically zoom out when fighting larger enemies. Call me crazy, but I would actually like to see what's happening when fighting a boss the size of a skyscraper.

So I just went to fight Great Wyrm Theodorix and apparently he had some previous beef with the giant land octopuses because instead of fighting me he ran off and attacked them and they basically killed him for me.

This guard counter/stance break build I've been doing on Elden Ring is disgusting and probably one of the easiest runs I've done. I thought it might be boring playing a build that's more defensive but honestly it hasn't been.

The only thing I would really say was missing from the Fable showcase that is quintessentially Fable is emotes when interacting with NPCs.
Even if emotes aren't the main method of interacting I still want to be able to fart at people.
