The problem is the size of soapbox he has. Pub bores and wild eyed reactionaries have existed forever in pubs& on literal soapboxes at Hyde Park corner. But this one has grabbed control of the online town square& is luring all like himself through a megaphone.

Here in South East Wales we’ve only, today, got one passable route out from our home - now that flooded roads have subsided and fallen trees removed.

News bulletins show the worst affected areas but not the full extent of flooding and damage.
