A plea to my fellow professionals in the media. Please put Trump’s racism on the top of your news agendas? Where is it? The leader of the “free world” is using his racism to make all of our lives worse instead of better. A racist is a threat to us all. Whatever else he is doing, holds no worth.

@sarahsmithlab.bsky.social on #skynews this morning. She put it much more eloquently than I ever could why Starmer should remain PM. He already done more for women and children in 18 months than past 14 years.

#skynews @kamalimelbourne.bsky.social @annajones.bsky.social I don't know how you are keeping your cool today after that horrendous post Trump made about the #Obamas I am in tears the media should be in outraged. I'm so angry.

#C4News The media are just a lynch mob to bring Keir Starmer down. Media Interviewing just far left MPs calling for Starmer's resignation. He had bad judgement, he's apologised. Now is not the time when world peace is so fragile to change leader. We are safer with Starmer as PM @krishgm.bsky.social

Powerful speech from Keir Starmer. He genuinely wants to make the UK a better place. #StandWithStarmer. #LBC @mrjamesob.bsky.social #BBCNews #SkyNews

Douglas Alexander spot on #Skynews #Labour has to focus on defeating Reform in next 3 months, not fight a news drama about who will be Labour leader. The press just want a story, News presenters should be careful what they wish for. #Farage would be a disaster for the UK. @mrjamesob #LBC #SkyNews

Of all the things #ITV #GMB could have said about Trump's rambling speech Susanna Reid thought it amusing this morning to show Macron with his Sunglasses on at Davos and cuts to Trump's speech of him taking the Mickey out of Macron for wearing sunglasses(burst eye vessel) @mrjamesob.bsky.social #LBC

When turning on the news earlier my first reaction was to criticise Starmer for his placid language "calm discussion" but on hearing the full speech and not just sound bites. I think he is probably right for trying to calm things down. #Greenland

Always defend Keir Starmer, but I just turned the News on to see Starmer says we should have a "calm discussion" on Greenland. No bloody way, we need to defend Europe stance. Have a bit of courage for Goodness sake. @mrjamesob.bsky.social #LBC

Keir Starmer needs to stand up for the BBC against Trump's outrageous $5bn lawsuit and protect licence fee payers from being hit in the pocket.

Trump wants to interfere in our democracy and undermine our national broadcaster. We cannot let him.

Guy on @mrjamesob #LBC makes a really good point. The journalists missed the Report on 14th November saying that economy was better than expected. If journalists investigated instead of following the Daily Mail headlines we might get a bit more balance. @mrjamesob only one to take an original line.

Lynne on #LBC James O'Brien @mrjamesob.bsky.social is so right the media is so negative and bias. Imo Labour spads should listen to James O'Brien and make sure the truth gets out there.

Thank God for @mrjamesob.bsky.social #budget 3 billion isn't going break the economy, but it will lift kids out of poverty.
Labour should get this message out there. #LBC

@nelsabbey.bsky.social is right we shouldn't dehumanise illegal immigrants. Good point on how illegal immigrants are desperate people trying to escape from often dangerous situations. Nels Abbey and Kwasi Kwarteng are a good combo on @GMB. Polite to each other even though different views.

Kemi Badenoch has the nerve to blame #Labour for her parties 14 years of disaster The UK services in tatters #prisonsovercrowding #NHSdecline #Brexit being the most damaging. Her speech was just awful #LBC

@mrjamesob.bsky.social is the only journalist I've heard calling out the speech by Elon Musk, and getting the importance on calling it out. It's scary times and the media seem to be sleepwalking into changing our country into a hell hole. @lbc.bsky.social #LBC
