FWIW, it's not just extreme right Christians who believe women are worth less than men. Grew up with Jewish parents & my 2nd yr in college my dad told me that the reason I'd needed to save for college & get a degree was to ensure I could support a future husband intellectually in the home.

Without family and friends in a country which is not mine makes me feel very lonely and isolated. Just want to get past this period of the year as fast as I can.
