We need to ignore this noise they're making & continue to focus on the Epstein files. We need all of the wealthy people & people in our govt investigated & held accountable. There ARE guilty perpetrators, including likely men in high ranking govt positions.

Exploring my options re: the house & wondering if my fellow kitty peoples have ever lived in a 1 bedroom condo w/3 cats? I never planned to get 3, but no way I'll ever give one up as they're my family.
Is it cruel to move to an 800 sq ft 1 bd condo? If so, I won't consider anything like that

Why the hell does anything that actually helps American citizens have to be made into a show? Can't they just govern for the sake of governing vs a photo op? (It's a positive move, but dammit-it sure seems to be motivated by political advancement vs caring about human beings. It's slimy)
I just signed legislation to stop predatory actors from exploiting veterans as they navigate the benefits they've earned through service and sacrifice.

Why the hell does anything that actually helps American citizens have to be made into a show? Can't they just govern for the sake of governing vs a photo op? (It's a positive move, but dammit-it sure seems to be motivated by political advancement vs caring about human beings. It's slimy)

Apparently showing up over a millions time in files related to a convicted child trafficker who was trafficking girls for rape is now just part of the work of the office of the President of the US, given that the majority in SCOTUS & the full GOP are refusing to investigate & prosecute.

Apparently showing up over a millions time in files related to a convicted child trafficker who was trafficking girls for rape is now just part of the work of the office of the President of the US, given that the majority in SCOTUS & the full GOP are refusing to investigate & prosecute.
Making some major life decisions again. Super not fun. Prompted in part by insurance companies finding ways not to write old houses, 2nd by my employer changing our health insurance so I have have to drive 60-100 miles RT anytime I need health care (no tier 1 coverage here effective 1/1).

I think I've hit the "fuck it" stage of life where I'm feeling that anyone who isn't willing to fight the suppression of the majority of Americans, you should just go ahead and move to Russia. Clearly you love dictatorships, no rights, & oligarchs. Do SOMETHING, anything. Lots to do behind scenes

Siege of MN by our faux government continues on this sunny Sunday. There's a local biz that seems to be allowing them to stage. Won't be doing biz there-in fact, not really buying here at all since most biz don't have ICE out signs.

Rower was 115 lbs so 90+ mins to break it down to get it to curb. The issue-a magnetic plate was either warped or installed crooked so it kept hitting the case & the magnet. No way to know without breaking it (basically you can't get the case off w/out breaking it). No regulations=crap products

My rower broke & I was trying to fix it so didn’t hear the horns. As soon as I realized I ran out to record but was too late & it was just our police letting ICE use their bathrooms. So yeah, they’re here & apparently our city govt thinks ICE is just fine

Think I'm going to celebrate figuring out the roof situation by buying 10 Churus at Furball to give to some kitties (they sell them to visitors, so I like to buy 1 or 2 every Friday. Mainly for my little man, Stewie)

Gotta get over to Furball but wanted to let you guys know that likely I'm going to get the roof redone. Retirement account is very, very sad 😆 Relieved that if I have to sell, I can (insurers refusing to write the house due to the roof age-last done in 2004 but not leaking + house was built in 1890)

Had marshal training & get to try it out at the next big protest in March. Nice to have a bit of a break. Even though the seige in our small towns is minimal, the hate it incites still has a significant (emotional & psychological) impact on us.

Such a relief to have the deep polar vortex we've been subjected to for weeks now finally lifting. Maybe even be headed to some above normal temps, but don't quote me on that as I didn't look up averages. Honestly, a massive relief. Double digit below zeros are so hard, no matter where you live

Marshal training is tomorrow! Even if we turn the govt Blue in November, I'm guessing protests will continue for a long time as we work to cleanse the govt of the festering filth it's become. I figure marshaling is a good skill to have

I'm not on any Meta platform, but if you are-this is perfect. The Loppet Luminary was my absolute favorite event in MN for many years (during the colder years where the ice was thick enough). Really nice, creative use of luminaries from folks who know how to do it
