i never ended up finishing this project but the plan for these was recreating my first Rimworld base in isometric. Honestly still some of my better work despite it being so long ago lol

I think this is at the heart of why AI is useful to fascists. They seek to throttle the imagination, so people won't be able to think of ways to stop them. People won't be able to hope for anything better.
I spotted this on Mastodon and I find it horrible, not least for the speed with which this has happened.

There’s a part of me that’s sad about it because you know for a lot of them, it’s done out a fear and a lack of ability to stand up for themselves. As a trans person who was self hating for most of my young life, I get that. But fucking trying to sell out to fascists is just absolutely pitiable
