I haven’t been to the U.S. in over 3 decades - but I’ve been to Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, China, Tonga, Bali, Germany, Austria and across Canada.

Unfortunately, meeting Americans on my travels simply reaffirms why I don’t go to the USA.

As if the Nazis didn't cheerfully murder LGBTQ+ people, the mentally challenged, and Roma and Sinti in literal carload lots. As fucking if! To say nothing of how many Slavic and Greek Untermenschen in occupied Eastern Europe starved from unbenign neglect.

1-800-BUY-CLUE.
The problem with the current moment is that we're going to have to eventually stop comparing this to Nazism because what is occurring here is increasingly an organic, native grown version of fascism, with our own variants of blood libel and designated out groups beyond just Jews.
Rep. Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, has sent a letter to Pam Bondi calling for Zohran Mamdani to be stripped of his citizenship and deported.

Disabled activist Carol Olinger is still in custody after peacefully protesting GOP Medicaid cuts.

She needs insulin NOW & has kidney dialysis at 6am.

This is medical neglect—cruel and deliberate. Her life is at risk.

We demand her release & care. Please share widely!

People in wheelchairs are getting arrested right now in the Russell Senate Office Building in DC. They showed up to tell Congress not to cut their Medicaid, because they cant afford health care without it. If you look closely you can see the zip ties on their hands. #WeWontGetOverLosingMedicaid

Ted Cruz just said Mr. Abrego has been charged with Human Trafficking. Cruz proclaims "I read every word of that indictment!" Apparently not, because Abrego was not charged with human trafficking.

I hope this comes up in a motion to dismiss the charges.

They rolled in to be heard—and were dragged out for daring to speak. Disabled Americans are protesting in the halls of power because, without Medicaid, they lose everything.

i don't think police should shoot anyone but it is always wild to me that these white mass-murderers are taken into custody "without incident" while unarmed Black and brown folks get shot in the back with their hands in the air and get charged with "assault" for bleeding on the cops who beat them

To better prepare for this violent insurrection, Marines and the National Guard are being taught how to line dance.
This is the spirit of Los Angeles.

This is California.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

This took a while to get done, but I've chronicled my day among the protesters in Los Angeles, and the idea that this is anything but a celebration of cultural heritage and a firm, nonviolent demand to protect family, friends and neighbors is totally ridiculous.

Cries of Defiance and Songs of Joy in Los Angeles
The protesters are being called unspeakably violent by the Trump administration. I mostly saw clergy sit-ins and Tejano bands.

The administration is going to try to frame events in Los Angeles as wild violent rioting to justify brute force.

Indeed, they already are.

Hi there, I am rarely on either platform too. The cancer was discovered when it was already stage 4. I had hernia surgery in July 2024 and thought the symptoms I was having were due to that. Scan showed huge (20 cm) tumor and metastatic disease in my gut.
