It’s a bold statement, but I believe that Krull (1983) is a lot of fun.

People often turn their noses up at popular fiction, but all the classics were popular fiction at some point.

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

I watched some #StarTrek this afternoon: The Trouble With Tribbles and the 30th Anniversary sequel, DS9’s Trials And Tribble-ations. Both are great but the time between both episodes is 29 years… which is the gap between Trials and now. I wasn’t planning on feeling ancient tonight, but there you go…

I tried to have a joke about Kamelion but I couldn’t make it work.

I have loved Ncuti as the Doctor. But having those Doctor-lite episodes when he really only did what turned out to be one extended filming block just feels like a wasted opportunity, tbh.

Mostly enjoyed that finale, too.
