For those who didn't realise: the Thai government is in cahoots with the PRC. Or worse, allows Beijing to dictate actions to it and/or is willing to allow Beijing to do such as "disappear" those Beijing deems its enemies from Thailand. A case in point: Hong Kong-Swedish bookseller Gui Minhai.

Always good to remember that when GovHK says the NSL impacts a "tiny minority" of ppl, they are deliberately measuring that impact solely in terms of the number of convictions. The actual impact is far, far wider, and they know that, because it's by design.
