Since Mamdani's election, I've been looking for Salaam Bombay, the big breakthrough of his mother, Mira Nair. It's a wonderful movie. I saw it twice when it came out decades ago but only found a Hindi version on Youtube. My vocabulary of one is a bit short, though.

If the US Army doesn't pay their civil personnel, they have to declare bankruptcy after German law. After a bit of restructuring (i.e., Cessna and Jeep instead of F-35 and Abrams), it should be OK.
If the restructuring fails, the impounded jets and tanks go to Ukraine.
