Today is Rosenmontag, the most important day of carnival in Germany. Millions of people are celebrating on the streets with processions.

Traditionally very political floats are shown. I'll include those with international references. /2

As you process the Epstein files, remember:

Palantir received early funding from Jeffrey Epstein.
It was also backed by the CIA’s venture arm, In-Q-Tel.
Then came the defense contracts.
Then mass data analytics at scale.

This isn’t separate stories.
It’s one ecosystem: the Epstein network.

I love it, like so many people and the article catches that all. Sometimes I wish my kids were three again and tell me serious and funny and mysterious stories.

It's not protecting your government if an official says something against neo-Nazis and a newspaper says something else against neo-Nazis. It's just not being an arsehole. Something that Grenell, the failed former ambassador to Germany, couldn't understand because they're his people.
Good thing Fox doesn’t do this.

They got that covered. For what do you think the SAVE Act will be used? Find your birth certificate, your marriage license, a hundred dollars or more, deal with the delays by R officials, and a married woman can vote. It's also a great incentive for women to marry…

According to White House sources, Donald and Melania Trump celebrated Valentine's Day with their annual tradition of watching the first half of Casablanca, cheering for the Nazis, and hurling racial slurs at Sam the piano player.

Tomorrow is 'Rosenmontag' in Germany. There will be huge Carnival processions in Germany; three cities have more than half a million people standing along the ways. Everything is shown on TV and there is absolutely no way to escape 😁.

I don't understand why I didn't see more detailed reporting about the stock performance. It's obvious that the far-right media, which by now is pretty much everything from CBS to WP to Fox News, doesn't, but the rest? US stocks gained 17% in 2025!

Nobody talks about the 24% in 2023 and 23% in 2024.

That's one of the rare moments where I wish I were religious. It's soothing to be sure that depravity meets a judge; that there comes a time where all these people will confront their inhumanity and crimes.
This piece has been viewed over 14 million times over the last 48 hours. Unbelievable.

I'm so encouraged to see how many people are as disgusted by this as I am.

Sometimes you just need to be reminded that you're not alone.

Keep fighting, good people!

I rarely watch sports, but I know that curling is a bit marginalised. I have a tip on how to increase the visibility: instead of letting the cheating claims fly, take a page out of the book of the hockey players; where they have sticks, you have brooms ... Reclassify it as martial arts. /2
