Преди две години YouTube знаменитост и геймър с името Рос Скот стартира онлайн петиция с името „Спрете да убивате игрите“ (Stop Killing Games). Повод за това се оказа прекъсването на сървърите на The Crew от страна на Ubisoft. Което беше поредна изява на гейм издател срещу собствеността. Целта на петицията беше ясна. Издателите да прекратят практиката да „убиват“ видеоигрите, когато си поискат. Същото, което се случи с игри, като Anthem и Concord. Петицията набираше популярност и премина заветните един милион подписали се скоро. Защо точно толкова? Рос живее в САЩ, където петицията едва ли може да има току-така шанс.
