Yet another story of the US administration, that if it was a subplot in a TV series, it would’ve been absolutely unbelievable as too far fetched. Yet we see it despite being a textbook definition of an irony.
A story I found about Haiti:
In 1999, a group of Haitians were tired of political disorder and dreamed of a better life in the United States. So they built a small, 23-foot boat by hand using pine trees, scrap wood, and used nails. They called the boat "Believe in God."

A literal pipe dream!
If anyone wants to know what's wrong with this, then I have a list.
- It will cost an insane amount to lift into orbit
- Low orbits like SSO means it will have lots of drag and will need lots of fuel to keep it in orbit
- Also the drag will create torque, so you'll need orientation rockets

Както спряха да прилагат тестове за наркотици на полицаите, вместо да оправят закона и процесите, така и сега май ще се откажат от идеята с магазина, вместо да оправят бизнес средата и да махнат административните тежести.
А точно те са проблема, който поражда нуждата, държавата да прави магазини.

That’s Enshitification in a nutshell.
Excellent post starting as an idle observation what AI means for programmers. But quickly expands to point out that the real issue is the forcing of said AI by the existing structures of power and devaluing the human experience.
