I had to come to the realization this weekend that even though my waist measures at 26", I no longer fit into size 26 pants because my thighs have gotten big from rowing. I need to embrace the true pear that I am.

Maybe i wasn't ready for our generation to have kids bcuz my older brother & his wife have announced they are expecting, and if it's a girl, they are going to name her Relena. The boy name, unfortunately, is not Heero.

I finished Spiritfarer last night (100% bay-beeeee). I've never had a game make me cry multiple times in one playthrough before. It was a cathartic experience.

I love being the one who gets to introduce my partner to Ghibli films. He loved Princess Mononoke. I showed him The Wind Rises last night because he's an engineer in the aerospace industry (not defense!!!) and it made him tear up at the end.

So my childhood dog passed away 2 weeks ago. My partner got me Spirirtfarer as a gift to help me grieve &I haven't had a game make me cry so much before. Then my childhood cat passed away on Friday. This time i wasn't as much of a mess because i told myself I was taking her to the Everdoor.

I reached out to a therapist before I quit my last job. Held off on scheduling because, duh, no job. Responded back once I started my new job that I am good for scheduling now and explained what happened.
