Never forget that Pierre Poilievre stood with the people who literally pissed and danced on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, tore down fencing to protect the National War Memorial. This group catapulted his leadership run. #cdnpoli #remembranceday

Why does CBC find it necessary to live stream Trump's press conferences? He's just going on and on, about inane things, it's crazy.

The Dems in the House now have no choice but to accept this "deal" to end the shutdown. Should they fight, they now look the obstacle, with the Senate capitulation. They've just handed the GOP the high ground, and the public will now blame Dems for any further delays. Gutless. #uspoli

CPC MP Chambers on CBC yesterday was defending Poilievre. He said he was open to hearing from his MP's, and then he said PP has a saying:
"You can have your say, but you don't always get your way".
I almost broke out laughing, everything is a rhyming slogan with this lightweight. #cdnpoli

"Conservatives deny violence".
Sounds like there should be some kind of investigation to determine what exactly happened: From PP's office: "when Mr. d'Entremont's assistant opened the door, the door was open wide enough to come through so they calmly entered into the reception area." #cdnpoli

The Dems really need to ditch Chuck Schumer as the face of the Senate. He's weak, ineffectually, tarnished, his image is one of capitulation and pandering. Step back, you're a boat anchor on the brand. It never ceases to amaze how people put themselves first, when he's so clearly yesterday's man.

I'm old enough to remember when audio and video would match up perfectly. As a matter of fact, you didn't even think about it. I know, I know, but it's actually true, even with all the antiquated technology somehow they managed the apparently impossible audio and video seamlessly timed.

Quite the story, Andrew Scheer and the WHIP barged into d'Entremont's office "pushed" his Assistant, called him a "snake". He said it cemented his decision. This incident should be investigated, you can't push people in the H of C. Also, look at this today fro PP's office, unreal. #cdnpoli

I've heard Cons say the leadership race, in the middle of winter, closest to the hard right base for Poilievre, is a purposeful advantage. Now add in strong arming delegate selections, you have a farcical exercise, the numbers representative of a production, not real sentiment. #cdnpoli

Canadians didn't vote on a minority or majority, they voted for MP's in a riding, supporting a party. The Libs were very close to a majority, so this idea they're manufacturing one is only possible because of the relatively large mandate they received. Context matters. #cdnpoli

Tonda MacCharles reports on CBC that there is a "heavy handed approach" to the delegate selection for the CPC convention. Instead of allowing a free vote on leadership, Poilievre is strong arming ridings to send sympathetic delegates. Nothing says strength like using fear to survive. #cdnpoli

Interesting stat on CBC, in the last year, the Americans have lost 75000 manufacturing jobs and Canada has gained 3000. I'd love some reporter to ask Trump about that, see if red can pierce the orange paste. #cdnpoli
