Which players value will increase/decrease the most as MLB teams start looking towards next season? Like who will lose their playing time to callups or trade acquisitions. Thinking of deep league guys like Colin Rea possibly losing their rotation spot.

I'm definitely curious if batting leadoff all year might have borked his mindset a bit, or if there have been any (intentional or unintentional) tweaks to his swing. He hasn't been punishing pitches like he was last year, looks caught in between. He has the vibe of a guy who missed spring training.

Agreed! Which is why it's probably early to victory lap after 80 ABs, even though he does look amazing so far.
But anyways, I don't think spring training overreaction is going away until humans rid themselves of fomo

The gulf between AAA and MLB pitching makes it so hard to ignore Spring Training results since it's the only sample we see facing MLB competition. And, for a lot of us, it's the first time we get decent video of some of them and it's easy to get caught up in the struggles or glimpses of talent.

It sometimes takes years to figure out if guys with great pedigrees who dominated the minors are going to pan out or if they're AAAA players. See Tork, Jordan Walker, etc.

It feels like you're playing both sides here a bit, since you're telling us to ignore spring training, but also to ignore the early results of the regular season. If Campbell spent the first month struggling, he'd probably be losing playing time or could've perhaps been sent back down already.

These two political parties are so ingrained and so calcified and so good at manipulating elections and using people's rage to gain power that it's hard to imagine any meaningful change happening before the whole country collapses.

Imagine the difference people fighting abortion could make if they spent that money/energy on the dismal foster care system, where a staggering amount of kids end up homeless, incarcerated or as sex workers.
