Next in the English hardcover editions releases is the fantastic Large Print version of 'The Only Child.' I love how it seems to connect with the standard hardcover release with a building that could almost be the exact one on that cover.

We'll be returning to these mountains soon, but until then, I'd highly recommend you visit the Rockies & learn what happens if you follow the beeping sound that seems to hypnotize every creature.

Next up as we work through Andrew's English hardcover editions is the stunning 'The Only Child.' I love this novel & the image they used is perfectly evocative. And to this day, you can't convince me otherwise that's not a silhouette of Andrew on the cover 😂

Stred Reviews: Chris Sorensen returns with the very fun 'The Haunting of Sorrow's Leap.' In this one, we're reunited with Ellen Marx as her, & a trio of other 'gifted' individuals, head to a haunted mansion. Def one for fans of ghost stories!

Released on Jan 1st, 1996, Andrew Pyper's seminal collection 'Kiss Me' is 30 today. One of the best literary collections ever released, these stories launched Andrew's career & gave us such classic tales as 'Kiss Me,' 'Dimebag Girl,' 'Breaking & Entering,' & 'Camp Sacred Heart' among others. 1/3

Stred Reviews: 'Dragon Teeth' by Michael Crichton was an absolute blast! Fast-paced, action-packed & filled-to-the-brim with intensity, this was a historical fiction novel that feels more non-fiction than anything!

Next up in Andrew's English hardcovers is the Large Print edition of 'The Damned.' I always found this an odd image choice for the book, but I also love the ghostly female figure running in the woods!

I read a bunch of books in 2025, but easily my top book was 'Exiles' by Mason Coile. Gripping, claustrophobic & an emotional experience, this one is the definition of a page-turner.
I highly recommend you grab this if you haven't already!

Stred Reviews: @andrewcull.bsky.social's 'While I Was Gone' is another superb collection of short stories by one of the best short story writers working today. This collection needs to be read purely to experience 'Julia' & 'The Gorey Man.' Outstanding.

Stred Reviews: 'Taaqtumi 2: An Anthology of Arctic Horror Stories' delivers another batch of isolated, dread-filled tales that had me absolutely captivated! Definitely an anthology that'll have you discovering a new, fantastic author!

Next up, the English hardcover edition of Andrew's novel, 'The Damned.' This is a perfectly fine cover. Bleak, inviting & ominous. I'm not a fan of the fake sticker that was added in. Saying that, the use of the near faceless woman is great.
