That's shallot.
After the storm, just over a week ago, we've had strange things washing up on the beach from lost cargo containers in the channel. A couple of days back, it was just chunks of packaging.

Today, it was thousands of onions and garlic bulbs, all along the seafront.

Not claiming to know everything about David Bowie. However I am a long time fan, have all his music, have read countless books and watched plenty of documentaries but totally missed this!

It hasn't occurred to any of the amateur detectives that this could be the next regeneration of Ben Mitchell.

Like watching old 'An Audience With' shows and when the camera pans you go 'dead, dead, Yewtree...'
Watching the Bob Monkhouse thing on BBC4. Audience full of comics, it’s lovely spotting people. Oh look there’s Kev. And Steelie. Grrrr fuck it, what’s WALLIAMS doing there. Everything’s ruined.

Of course Bob Cratchit was late to work the day after Christmas, he took delivery of an uncooked turkey the size of his son on Christmas morning. It would have taken ages to cook, either they didn't sit down to eat until late, or he had the shits due to it being underdone.

Tonight I'm showing Dickens the 1992 adaptation The Muppet Christmas Carol, surprisingly one of the most book-faithful movie versions of the story.
