I do quality over quantity on Bluesky and having an even slower follow climb than I did on Twitter. Please recommend me and my amusing posts to get my numbers up. Many thanks in advance ☺️
It's time to start watching the adaptations of A Christmas Carol. This evening it was Ross Kemp's modern (in 1999) retelling, which maintains the spirit (no pun intended) of the original novella.

Here is a picture of my cat Dickens in a hashtag trope I'm calling #DickenslearningaboutDickens

Clock faces are traditionally set at ten to two or thereabouts in adverts as it represents a smile and thus makes the customer happy. Not entirely sure it applies to digital displays but respect for having a go Sekonda.

The irony is that I can't get arrested in Nottingham these days but in Cyprus look what the hot fashion is.

My love and knowledge of A Christmas Carol is well documented, but even I haven't seen this version!

Dame Patricia Routledge, a one woman comedy masterclass. RIP

Only Fools and Horses did a rare thing in not relying on having the entire cast in every episode for the sake of it. The fact that Patrick Murray only appeared in 20 out of 64 episodes yet made a huge impact is a testament to his ability to own his scenes as part of a high-quality ensemble cast.

Has nobody ever thought to get a double-decker bus and do an On the Buses tour of London?
One day, someone* should do a travelogue where they visit all of these comedy dining experiences.

* Not me.
God, I'd love to go to one of these. Not, you know, to the extent that I'd spend any money or time to do so, but still.

Even by the usual standards of these copyright-threatening does this looks absolutely terrible. You'd at least *try* and get actors who look like the originals, surely?

I've never previously noticed how Julia Roberts looks so much like Will Young.

I am so glad that Royal Mail has gone green. When I was a postman we used bicycles, thank goodness that pollution nightmare is over 🙄🤦‍♀️🤦‍♂️📮

I was hot and thirsty as I cycled along the river, thank goodness for Nottingham Council's innovative bin fridges. Sadly it had run out of refreshing cold drinks so they need to step up the restocking.

Remembering Andy Warhol, born this day 1928. As a tribute, I made this very short film titled Warhol in the Supermarket, which you can view here

Surely this should take place on a boat with riparian entertainment.

Bins fitted with screens is a good idea in theory, could be useful for displaying local information. I hope this pilot scheme gets rolled out citywide.
