This has affected many of my acquaintances as they lose funding for their important programs and research.
This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

Dementia is an awful condition, its sad to see someone deteriorate as a result.

For a US President to have this condition can have a dangerous impact on the world. Reagan had Nancy to prop him up but Trump's family aren't compos mentis with the world themselves.

Havering Council's Twitter a/c was hacked into by a bot last week. I am pleased they were able to resolve it.

Being on Twitter is not only a risk to reputation but can also expose under age people who may follow the account to things they shouldn't see.

Given the seriousness of what Musk is doing to his platform I wonder if Twitter should be blocked until he has fixed these issues. I personally don’t think he can be trusted.

The US needs to put an end to chaos. People cannot thrive in an unstable environment but also puts off investors and potential visitors to its shores. You have only got to check out the declining number of Canadian visitors to the US & its outreach to find trading partners elsewhere.
A woman was murdered by ICE this morning in Minneapolis. This was state-sanctioned violence, a predictable outcome of an agency empowered to treat human lives as disposable.

We mourn her death, stand with her community, and reject the brutal systems that continue to terrorize our neighbors.

A month after this news article it appears that Capita has made no progress getting its grip on the failing Civil Service Pension Scheme. Can’t register, no communication strategy, many website errors and more. Complex rules & a takeover by an incompetent company I think are part to blame.
Despite a clear warning from the Public Accounts Committee of a “clear risk” in allowing Capita to take over administration of the Civil Service Pension Scheme given the firm's record the Cabinet Office are ... going ahead regardless.
