Congrats to our ally the BC Humanist Assoc. for ending anti-choice billboards in Kelowna BC! Some companies were accepting anti-choice ads but refusing pro-choice ads. Unfortunately, they still refuse pro-choice ads despite them meeting legal and advertising standards. Anti-choice ads do NOT.

Manitoba has finally repealed some unconstitutional parts of its Public Schools Act that mandated prayers in schools. Unfortunately, they left in provisions that allow clergy to deliver religious instruction if enough parents petition for it. www.bchumanist.ca/manitoba_rep...
