Went to a ‘record fair’ earlier, just one dude and a box of unpriced stuff; went to local shop, came out with two Innovative Communications albums, one from Coda’s New Age series, top nick 12s of SUAD’s £10/£20 to get in and remixes of Testone plus the OG of Skank Bloc Bologna by Scritti Politti.

Lovely gig last night, great crowd in and Alice Palace played a blinder, as expected. No booze for me. Up with the lark and watching the Sussex countryside glow beneath a cloudless sunny sky, from an on-time train. Juat a hilly Hastings half marathon in the post storm winds can spoil my vibe.

Anyone out there in Brighton, this one’s for you… the brilliant Alice Palace is DJing at West Hill Tavern tonight. Me and that Dave Holloway from Do!!You!!! radio are doing the warm up. It’ll be good, and I think you should join us.

51 years old and just back on the south coast from a 48 hour round trip to DJ in Stockport.

Absolutely made up that I can do that, get to play records alongside some of the best there's ever been - Boardman and Moonboots no less - and still be awake at 8:30 on a Sunday night.
