Went to a ‘record fair’ earlier, just one dude and a box of unpriced stuff; went to local shop, came out with two Innovative Communications albums, one from Coda’s New Age series, top nick 12s of SUAD’s £10/£20 to get in and remixes of Testone plus the OG of Skank Bloc Bologna by Scritti Politti.

Went to a ‘record fair’ earlier, just one dude and a box of unpriced stuff; went to local shop, came out with two Innovative Communications albums, one from Coda’s New Age series, top nick 12s of SUAD’s £10/£20 to get in and remixes of Testone plus the OG of Skank Bloc Bologna by Scritti Politti.
Lovely gig last night, great crowd in and Alice Palace played a blinder, as expected. No booze for me. Up with the lark and watching the Sussex countryside glow beneath a cloudless sunny sky, from an on-time train. Juat a hilly Hastings half marathon in the post storm winds can spoil my vibe.

51 years old and just back on the south coast from a 48 hour round trip to DJ in Stockport.
Absolutely made up that I can do that, get to play records alongside some of the best there's ever been - Boardman and Moonboots no less - and still be awake at 8:30 on a Sunday night.
