Am I just old and about to go blind or are films and TV programmes being shot with the lights off? I am grateful that I am hard of hearing so sound levels are intolerable rather than pain inducing.

It's funny how I tend to remember the NME being very hard on us at this period, but here's Each and Every One in their Top 50 singles and Eden at no 20 in the Best Albums, so memory plays tricks. We remember bad reviews more. So it's fun to see this.

Kemi Badenoch's spokesman repeatedly refuses to tell me where the leader of the opposition got her claim from that the main character in Adolescence had been "race-swapped" from black to white, telling me that it's "astounding" that I should ask him about it

I’m sure there are lawyers on here who can comment but isn’t this an offence under the the Children and Young Persons Act to fail to report, neglect and endanger children in this way?
