Trump is not being played. He is openly pro Putin, pro Russia.

Europeans and everybody else need to acknowledge that, in public
European messaging today in Paris was exemplary. Strong message that Europe won’t prematurely lift sanctions for sake of a terrible Black Sea deal. Efforts to goad Trump into seeing he’s being played. Signals that Europe won’t accept caps on Ukraine‘s military. And pressing on w/ coalition planning.

ah... now Ukraine can listen in on US-Russia agreements to carve up Ukrainian territory Russia is unable to take by force.

Europe needs to create new scholarship to defeat foreign state subversion

My latest on Substack regarding the need for new scholarship, not just to admire the problem of foreign state subversion, but to actually defeat it.

Europe needs to create new scholarship to defeat foreign state subversion
Both US-centric IR scholarship and EU-centric scholarship about CFSP and CSDP have failed our continent's true needs.

"... [Israel's] determination to get the bomb no matter what it took, including ... violating a major nuclear arms control treaty to which [it] is a party."

Oh the outrage.

@thebulletin.org said nothing about US violating Budapest, another arms control agreement.

The US hypocrisy about Israel's nuclear weapons must stop
Israel's nuclear weapons may have started as a deterrent against another Holocaust, but they have now morphed into an instrument serving the aggressive and expansionist Middle Eastern country.

His transparently pro-Russia "peace" "negotiations" have already wrecked NATO. Nobody trusts him or any of the other criminal clowns in his cabal.

He'll amplify all Russia's BS about Ukraine "violating the ceasefire" as his pretext to fully abandon Ukraine.

Good god man, I never saw that coming.
Trump can weaken NATO without a U.S. exit, per Newsweek. Skipping drills, halting anti-Russian efforts, and eyeing troop cuts could gut collective security. Europe fears betrayal, even if the U.S. stays in name.

There is not a single area where Ukrainian soldiers are even remotely in danger of being encircled.

Instead, there is one combat area where an encirclement is happening and this in Toretsk, where Russian forces are about to be cut off in the West of the town, if they didn't have left already.

Not just the Serbian far right, but the CANADIAN FAR LEFT supported the genocide in Bosnia and the attempted genocide in Kosovo, trotting out exactly the same Russia-inspired propaganda drivel as this guy during the NATO campaign of 1999.

When Putin razed Grozny the same year, they were silent.
In today’s Vatnik Soup, I’ll introduce a Serbian academic, Ratko Ristić. He’s best known for engaging in pro-Kremlin, ultranationalist politics and propaganda while undermining business ties between Serbia and the EU.

What happened to General Kellogg's role? It's worse than you thought.

The Kremlin said they didn't want him involved, and so Trump obeyed, parked him, and went into the "negotiations" anyway.

Kellogg wasn't even hawkish. But as a military man, less easy to fool.
