A wonderful positive campaign but we fell just a little short of winning in Fountainbridge-Craiglockhart this time. Our 3rd place makes winning here in 2027 so much more likely.

This was incredibly disappointing 🙅‍♂️

In speaking, I mentioned the inspirational actions of Labour Cllrs in 1986 when opposing apartheid in South Africa ✊

How far Labour has fallen that, now, in the face of a genocide, they refuse to use their power to oppose arms companies testing on Council land 🥀
NEW: Labour councillors joined Tories to vote AGAINST prohibiting arms manufacturers from using public parks in Edinburgh to test equipment

It comes after Leonardo tested its equipment in the Braid Hills area last year, prompting public anger

With this latest SNP retreat we're falling behind on energy efficiency.

With bills soaring and climate change accelerating, it's vital we improve home insulation and expand the use of clean energy like heat pumps and heat networks.

It won’t happen by itself. We need clear leadership.

BAE Systems arms states that are engaged in human rights atrocities like Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Yet the Scottish Government is giving them millions in grants.

We must stop funding multinational arms companies, and instead use that money to support people in Scotland.

Scotland has massive potential for renewable energy.

🌍We have the resources.
👷‍♂️We have the workers.

What we need is politicians to provide workers a real opportunity to transition to greener industries as we move away from fossil fuels.
