I wish I was surprised. Buried in this Budget is a plan to slash the Digital Services Tax, giving a multi-billion tax cut to US tech giants and the likes of Elon Musk.

That's right, cutting taxes for the world's richest man while hiking them for millions of hard-working Brits.

Our new @cujournmedcul.bsky.social study of how the #Caerphilly by-election was reported featured in @nation.cymru - the distinction between how Wales and UK-wide media cover the Senedd elections next year could be significant given more people rely on news produced in England than in Wales 👇

He’s apparently Reform UK’s Director for Wales.

You may remember him as the Councillor who wrote offensive songs ‘Spack Attack’ and ‘Pussystomp’ then tried to deny it.

LibDems defeated Farage’s 10 minute rule bill to take us out of the European Convention on Human Rights earlier. Frontbench Labour abstained. Tories voted with Reform. This was the make up of the house for the debate. Only really the LD benches bothered! Will this get any coverage I wonder ?

Labour failing our children. Ignoring evidence led policy. Why???

This is not about money, it's about leadership and Labour are letting us down.

Chris Philp failed FIVE times to call out Reform MP Sarah Pochin’s blatantly racist comments.

The Conservatives are too scared of Reform to call out this racism for what it is.

Liberal Democrats will always call out racism and stand up for a decent, tolerant Britain.

Watching @bbclaurak.bsky.social. The difference between Wes Streeting's impassioned statement of unity and Chris Philp's mealy mouthed tacit support for racisism from reforms Pochin was stark.

No doubt that both Reform and the Tories are harbouring racists and not calling out awful discrimination.

People who have come to the United Kingdom legally, played by the rules and made it their home do not need to “go home”. This is their home.

I've written to Kemi Badenoch to give her the chance to reject these divisive calls from her frontbencher Katie Lam.

This is so relevant to #Wales as well
One of the biggest barriers to students in rural areas accessing vocational studies through FE colleges is that they live so far away, and that travel costs a fortune.

I asked the Education Secretary what plans she has to put an end to that barrier.

Leave Johnson’s right wing appointees in charge of the BBC? The first thing any sane prime minister would have done is to clean out the stables, wouldn’t they? Not our Keir. He’s taken stupidity to a whole new level.

Not sure you can say this isn't tax avoidance @danneidle.bsky.social - whether they did this due to a purposeful decision, or through incompetence they've still tried to avoid paying tax.
Amazing story in The Times. Reform UK failed to pay VAT to HMRC on its sales (tickets, merchandise). About £400k in all.

Not tax avoidance. Not tax evasion. They just didn't realise when you sell stuff you have to charge VAT.
