I can understand how there’s a personal empowerment and pro-disability angle to “death with dignity,” but there’s never been a stronger upswing trend against people with disabilities during my lifetime. Makes me really, really sad.

I’m generally against “medical aid in dying” laws, but the idea of NY enacting such law at the same time that Medicaid, rural hospitals and nursing homes are at risk makes my stomach turn.

my bad boys came right off the street, no middleman. they are both sweeties, but one of them had a peeing problem, which was a temporary nightmare. i still end up lookin! maybe someone in my cat chat needs another??
