On my last trip to Ireland I visited Belfast and took a tour where I learned a lot about the Troubles and saw this very famous mural of Sands.

As an outsider I remain agnostic on the sides of that conflict, but can definitely report those people are still remembered 45 years later.

...also successfully pushed the UK govt to transfer them to a N Ireland prison. That came, however, after months of force feeding. The Prices achieved a goal in that strike, but they bore terrible physical and emotional damage afterwards.

It did force the UK government to start treating IRA prisoners as political prisoners and not standard criminals, meaning they could wear their own clothes, excused from prison work, and more such flexibilities. The 10 who died, including Sands, were seen as martyrs.

This may not qualify (since a good chunk of the sequence takes place in one vehicle) but the truck chase in Raiders of the Lost Ark is editing perfection.

Perhaps the solution is not for the MN government to create a dumping ground for all videos, but to have people video just in case an incident goes south to a degree where prosecution is required (such as the Good shooting). At that point, ask people to submit videos of that specific incident.
