Kinda fatally unimpressed with anyone complaining “the #auspol political parties are so uninspiring”. It’s government, not a fucking Ted Talk. Government is about negotiating outcome compromises that don’t kill or impoverish the majority of 26.66m people. If you want feelings, watch a movie.

perception flys in the face of reality.
not all flys are grubby
grubified grungedand dirty version of image 2: this is the way we most often see 'em. A bush fly rests on a spiky bush giving me the eye. Flys don't only dine on the faeces they encounter but they love nectar too and so do some pollenating as well.

Today I was introduced to what was described as the Worst Plot In Exoplanet Science, and frankly, it is a work of art
A hellishly confusing plot that combines the mass-radius ratio, surface flux, composition, and surface temperature of exoplanets, plus a couple of other things I can't even identify, all crammed on top of each other in a single space.
