My Irish passport application has really taken a detour... Charleston to Columbia to Jacksonville to Miami to Fort Lauderdale to currently New York. Mailed out December 30th, so it's spent 7 days taking a random tour of the east coast. I'm mildly concerned, not gonna lie.

I keep waiting to be upset about getting older and turning 40. But honestly? At 25, I would have NEVER gone anywhere or posted a picture without makeup. I was so self conscious. The older I get, the more I think I give myself grace and appreciate simply being... me? It's kind of lovely?
