This is the part of the boycotts that's most meaningful. The goal is hopefully to realize that you don't need these businesses like they want you to believe you need them. A permanent overall decrease in consumption would put one helluva wrench in the program.
Target foot traffic falls for the eighth consecutive week after the retailer ended its DEI programs. Meanwhile at Costco, which kept its DEI programs, foot traffic has been up for 13th straight weeks.

Decriminalizing jaywalking is one good for racial equity because it tends to be enforced against Black and Brown people and two also a nice warning to cars that they don’t get to rule the world.
Enforcement was considered discriminatory. Now New Yorkers can jaywalk legally
The NYPD can no longer ticket jaywalkers, after years of protest that enforcement unfairly targeted Black and Hispanic New Yorkers.
