I know the cause of my son's autism. It was the universe saying "this kid will be totally amazing in the most surprising ways." Pretty glad we decided to protect him from dying of the measles.
Science does not work like this. The only way you can set a timeline is if you have rigged the results in advance.

@markwarner.bsky.social I have called your office numerous times to ask what your position on the SAVE Act is, and now this voter suppression legislation has passed the House. Today, I was told again that you have no stated position. I urge you to please take a stand against it.

Sorry to be a bummer, but if we can't make "fetch" happen, there's no hope at all for "panican."

A GOP-controlled state appeals court ruled last week that over 65,000 lawful votes cast in North Carolina's Supreme Court race can be thrown out — potentially handing the race to the Republican candidate.

This is what stealing an election actually looks like.

People commenting on #handsoff posts: "Too bad these people didn't vote."

Me: "Um, you realize like 77 million people voted for someone other than Trump so this is just a fraction of them?"

They still do not understand how many of us voted against this.

I had to drop my son at his team bus at 5:45 a.m. and found myself afterwards driving home through the wide, deserted suburban streets listening to the theme song from Mannequin on the radio.

As I sat waiting at an empty multi-lane intersection, I thought, this is very Night of the Comet.

CALL YOUR REPS. This is a major voter suppression effort.
Tell Congress to Stop the Save Act

It takes away the right to vote from people who have changed addresses, names...

Women fought hard for years to get the right to vote a little over 100 years ago

It should never be taken away

Do your part

It's a little known fact that "Liberation Day" is guaranteed to be followed by "Evisceration Day" when our retirement savings are summarily gutted. I think tomorrow might be "Inebriation Day?" Let me know. I'll be waiting.

I suppose my first post here should be one of light and positivity, but what I'm really feeling today is delightful schadenfreude toward touchy people who were triggered by Cory Booker's bomb-ass, record-breaking speech.
