It really cannot be emphasized enough that the Holocaust was modeled after the American campaign to displace and exterminate Indigenous people. This country drew up that blueprint.
Fascism isn’t new to the US. It’s always been here. It’s built into this country‘s DNA. Bigotry is our primary export. The specifics of the criticism matter. If you're demanding they do something impossible or counter-productive ... then yes, it's harmful.

Mayhaps addressing why dems didn't get higher turnout in the first place should be a priority. Chastising people with no power certainly isn't doing that.
The problem here is performative criticism that's dishonest.
With better turnout on the left, we could have done much better in 2024; it wouldn't fully address structural advantages that the current political cleavages give to the GQP (rural base), but it could have given us a narrow majority.
