Decided to give this a try. Anything is better than X right? Probably use this as a place to provide musings on football, travels and other nonsense. Fans of @aberdeenfc.bsky.social welcome to interact in particular.
An amazing day for a club I've supported my whole life. @afc.co.uk winners of the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏆 for the first time since 1990.

A superb accomplishment by the club.

Really enjoying my time in 🇪🇹 as part of the CROSSROADS -SSA project. Looking at #underutilsed #plants and investigating their potential for improving #soilhealth.

Great day in the field yesterday at some agropastoral plots south of Hawassa.

Direct measurements can reduce uncertainty in soil carbon credit markets
Directly measuring soil carbon rather than relying on predictive models can provide hard evidence of how much carbon is being stored, allowing for better assessments of confidence in carbon markets for croplands, according to a study co-authored by Yale School of the Environment scientists and recently published in Environmental Research Letters.
