I'm not surprised. There is no real science behind what the farm is claiming. They could study the birds but they would be in quarantine for the rest of their lives.

There is nothing better than receiving comments on fanfic. So far I got “this is cute” to “why would you post something like this”. All positive things. I’m so happy.

There are so many unknowns here. Can birds become immune to avian flu? What about that more lethal strain was found in the flock?
The CFIA is acting out of caution. But if the birds are immune it’s an overreaction. We don’t know. There is a massive data gap.
