Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's illegal. But It's funny that insider trading is a crime. Cause like... it's impossible to make money through stock trades consistently without having insider information. Like what else are you supposed to do.

I feel like there's an impulse to make things dumbed-down to better accommodate stupid people, and there's a contrary impulse to make things overcomplicated or poorly explained to prove that you're not part of the first group. When in reality both of these are dumb.
