Okay here’s my mission:
Finish my ENTIRE todo list in the next 6 months.

The "jokes" and general callousness in response to the Epst*in emails just affirms my belief that the gulf between survivors of sexual violence and those who aren't / or otherwise do not recognize their experiences as violent is WIDE.

When I tell strangers I don’t want kids, they balk at the idea. Some of them (particularly men) get extremely upset about it.
Yet my friends who have kids all tell me what misery it is and that I should avoid them at all costs.

For normal people, Melissa means impromptu vacation days. For me, it means working my *ss off on the weekend so I hopefully don't fall too far behind if I have to miss a couple days.
