Oh Rick, back when we were the Twitter elite, it wouldn't have dared go down on our watch. /S
Huh. Twitter is down.

Didn't go offline much when I was there. Weird.

BREAKING:Mexico's president says tariffs will be delayed for one month.

Claudia Sheinbaum posted she had a "good conversation" with President Trump. He will delay implementing tariffs on Mexico for a month after Sheinbaum agreed to send 10,000 troops to the U.S. border to prevent drug trafficking.

Today, the future prime minister of Canada described the tariffs as a "colossal act of self-mutilation." He expressed a strong hope that these actions would have significant repercussions for Musk and Trump.
Now this is exceptional. I love Canada

Without sounding too conspiratorial, it's possible Khrushchev was serious when he claimed years ago he would undermine America from within.
i will say that we have never experienced anything like an administration trying to essentially freeze the activities of the entire federal government while making a series of illegal power grabs. genuinely unclear to me what kind of response, if any, these guys are generating against them

At 57, you'll gain a deeper understanding of gravity—perhaps with less admiration, but definitely with more insight.
The Beatles and The Stones and Zeppelin and The Beach Boys and The Who are all wonderful but when you reach the age of 56 you realize it was The Byrds and The Kinks all along. Happy birthday to me.

I hope he attempts that stunt with Mexico or Canada and sees the consequences.

Many people have diverse interests, but the intense dedication needed to be embraced by some fandoms is remarkable to achieve even once, let alone several times. For instance, being part of SuperWhoLock and also writing BTS fanfic shows a clear message of commitment.
I don’t quite understand folks who put “multi fandom” in their bios. Don’t most people like a variety of things?

Even if they did, it wouldn't matter. Most of the GOP is indifferent. As for the minority groups that supported the former leader, they will face the same consequences as everyone else.
Every Democratic Representative should be rushing to support Representative Salazar, a Fla Republican

It's the right thing to do and it Floods The Zone with confusion. And shows Dems doing the right thing in a red district. @aoc.bsky.social @repjasmine.bsky.social

Once they reach the third century, I'm confident everything will go smoothly.
Watching Gladiator 2. This society does not seem sustainable. I foresee difficult times for Rome but I'm sure it'll be fine.
